Not fake news: Trump sued for $2 trillion

Less than two weeks after president-elect Donald Trump agreed to pay $25 million to settle two lawsuits filed in San Diego over his for-profit university, the New York City mogul has been slapped with another lawsuit.

In what is apparently a preemptive lawsuit, Eric Franklin, 52, is seeking $2 trillion in damages, claiming Trump is guilty of espionage for bringing a Russian spy — Trump's wife Melania — into the White House. Franklin also charges that Trump is failing to deliver on promises he made on the campaign trail.

Franklin is currently an inmate at the Robert J. Donovan Correctional Facility in Otay Mesa. He filed the handwritten complaint on November 22 in San Diego Superior Court.

The first of two charges listed in the complaint accuses Trump of treason and for acting as an "accessory to mutiny" for granting his wife access to the White House.

Melania Trump, reads the lawsuit, "is a born communist from Russia and [is] not entitled to live in the White House."

Franklin also claims the president-elect is backing away from campaign promises to put an end to Obamacare and to deport undocumented residents who entered the U.S. illegally.

In addition to the $2 trillion dollar demand, Franklin believes a judge should order Trump to be "hanged by his neck until he is dead."

According to court documents, Franklin was arrested in August 2015 for making "criminal threats" and for disobeying a Domestic Relations Court" order."

Franklin is acting as his own attorney in the case.
