Will tweet for food

Twitter addicts now have their very own job description. That’s the word at UCSD’s Rady School of Management, which is looking for a social-media director. Applicants must have “experience thinking creatively to identify topics for use on various social media platforms” and “experience altering content based on social media platform.” The salary range is between $3,509 and $4,500 per month.

Meanwhile, San Diego State University is seeking to hire a tenure-track assistant professor of journalism with experience in “social media platforms and tools such as Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Twitter, and Facebook, among others.”
