The California State Bar has disciplined two Oceanside attorneys.

Danielle Marie Scherrer was disbarred July 26 after she failed to respond to charges that she misappropriated $24,974.43 from a dead person's estate and failed to cooperate with the bar's investigation. She'd been a lawyer for four years, according to Lawyer.com.

Gregory Elrod Grantham, an alum of Notre Dame and Loyola Law School, was placed on interim suspension August 20 following Maryland convictions for conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, and obstruction of justice. Grantham pleaded guilty in June to the real estate-related charges.
