Bela Lugosi's and David Copley's Hollywood home is sold

According to real estate publications and records in Los Angeles, the home of old-time horror-movie star Bela Lugosi — purchased by David Copley in mid-2011 — has been sold.

Copley bought it for $2.25 million and it sold in July for $2.6 mllion. However, Copley had put a lot of money into it, including re-slating the roof and starting to build a swimming pool before he died just prior to Thanksgiving in 2012.

Work stopped for awhile after his death, then resumed. Some say the Copley estate may have lost several hundred thousand on the house, considering all that was put into it.
