Iron Fist Brunch: Every year, Churchill’s Pub & Grille closes out Beer Week the same way, by inviting Iron Fist Brewing Company brewmaster Brandon Sieminski and his beers over for brunch, which is available a la carte or as a beer-paired three-course meal. | Churchill’s Pub & Grille, 887 West San Marcos Boulevard, San Marcos, 10 a.m.

Beer Garden: Every year, the San Diego Brewers Guild closes out Beer Week the same way, with a food and beer pairing event put on by local breweries and chefs from around town. Held on the lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, it’s the official closing event of this 10-day marathon. | The Lodge at Torrey Pines, 11480 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla, 12 p.m.

Slater’s 50/50 Chargers Tailgate: Don’t forsake sports for suds. Have them both at a tailgate organized by bacon, beer, and burger outlet, Slater’s 50/50. The Bolts may not come out on top of Manning and company, but you’ll probably be too full to care all that much. | Qualcomm Stadium, X, Mission Valley, 1:25 p.m.

Lost Abbey Beer Tasting: Every year, O’Brien’s Pub closes out Beer Week the same way, with a rare beer tasting led by Tomme Arthur, the heralded director of brewery operations at The Lost Abbey. It always makes for a memorable night of rare and avant garde ales. | O’Brien’s Pub, 4646 Convoy Street, Kearny Mesa, 6:30 p.m.
