Those with a hankering for gourmet hospital food may hope that a recent sponsorship opportunity by UCSD’s health system is repeated. According to an online fundraising flier, a $25,000 “masters” sponsorship of the health system’s 20th annual April 29 golf tournament included a “private dinner for 8 guests at your home prepared by UC San Diego Health System’s Chef.”…Robin Madaffer, the registered lobbyist married to ex-city councilman and online GOP media maven Jim Maddafer, has been raking in some big bucks. According to her first-quarter disclosure report, Madaffer’s firm, San Diego Land Lawyers, got $16,000 from Fore Property Company for a senior project in Navajo; $20,000 from Kilroy Realty for the Torrey Meadows bridge project; and $39,000 for Scripps Health’s master plan.
