NSSA in Ocean Beach

The NSSA (National Scholastic Surfing Association) held the first part of its South West Conference today in Ocean Beach with men's and junior's competitions beginning at dawn and ending at dusk. Skies were sunny and waves were six foot and closed-out. Twins Nick and Austin Rowe, surfers in the Men's Division took home twin trophies, coming in 4th and 2nd consecutively. The competition will continue through Sunday with masters divisions, senior's and more. Results of the men's division are as follows: 1st place, Colton Larson; 2nd place, Austin Rowe; 3rd place, Sterling Weatherly; 4th place, Nick Rowe. Results of the juniorâ?Ts division are as follows: 1st place, Shayne Nelson; 2nd place, Nathan Cintas; 3rd place, Josh Morse; 4th place, Taylor Clark.
