Born in Veracruz, Mexico, Irving Flores is an accomplished pianist, composer, arranger and music producer who spent many years playing keyboards with the Gilbert Castellanos New Latin Jazz Quintet. While a teenager, Irving moved to Mexico City, switching to piano and developing as a composer and arranger, going on to record with and produce Estaban Favela, Sacha Boutros, Brad Steinwehe Jazz Orchestra, Arinda Caballero, and Tania Libertad.

Hosted by Jeff Berkley, Songwriter Sanctuary features three acts performing in a Nashville-style round, sharing the stories and inspirations behind their songs. The Normal Heights host venue is an acoustically rich church building that formerly hosted the Acoustic Music San Diego concert series.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Hullabaloo is performing at San Diego Botanic Garden’s Dickinson Family Education Amphitheatre, with a portion of proceeds going to Feeding San Diego.
