Orianthi

Platinum-selling recording artist, Orianthi takes the stage at Belly Up to tease her upcoming album, "Rock Candy."

Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist Orianthi first earned widespread notice in 2009 as Michael Jackson’s lead guitarist for his planned This Is It concert series. She’s appeared at the Grammys with Carrie Underwood, and has played and toured with Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires, and Richie Sambora. The bill includes long-running local bar band The Blitz Brothers.

Join Nick Hornby and Susan Orlean in conversation with Dean Nelson. Hornby is an award-winning author and Oscar-nominated screenwriter whose books include the novels High Fidelity, About A Boy, How to Be Good, Juliet Naked, and Just Like You. His latest nonfiction book is Dickens and Prince: A Particular Kind of Genius. Orlean has been a staff writer at The New Yorker since 1992. She is the New York Times bestselling author of seven books, including The Library Book, Rin Tin Tin, Saturday Night, and The Orchid Thief. Her most recent book is On Animals. Silver Bay Kennel Club Dog Show

The Silver Bay Dog Show features 3 AKC All Breed Shows, Obedience and Rally Trials, plus 6 FSS Open Shows.

Established in 1934, Silver Bay Kennel Club of San Diego is one of the oldest kennel clubs in Southern California. There will be obedience and rally trials, testing and dog tricks, a pee wee class, and a beginner puppy show.
