Gunner Gunner Reunion Show

After graduating from La Jolla High in 2011, singer/songwriter Josh Blevins attended Pepperdine before enrolling at SDSU and launching Gunner Gunner around 2014. After a long period of inactivity, the band will perform a reunion show in Ocean Beach on May 26 at the Holding Company. The bill includes Desert Suns, who released their full-length self-titled debut around the time Gunner Gunner formed, and Into the Fuzz.

Joshua White

Jazz pianist and composer Joshua White was five years old when his family moved to El Cajon in 1991. He began formal piano training at the age of seven, going on to win second place in the prestigious Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition. The Fourth Friday Jazz Series will present White interpreting the music of Harold Arlen on May 26 at the La Jolla Community Center.
