Gabe Serbian remix, Stone Temple Pilots solo, Rob Halford jam, Berkley Hart holiday, Gunther’s Grass collaboration

“Plenty of dark details abound”

Gabe Serbian

"The Locust is pleased to present the official video for our remix of Danny Elfman’s song Cruel Compensation," announced Three One G label honcho (and Locust co-founder) Justin Pearson. "The remix was the last recording Gabe Serbian did before he left this world, making this video release surreal, intense, and cathartic. This new video was directed and edited by our collaborator Dark Details. The images speak for themselves with plenty of dark details abound."

Stone Temple Pilots

Bassist Robert DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots is releasing his debut solo album, Lessons Learned. The first single, "Love Is Not Made Of Gold," features guest vocalist Jimmy Gnecco (aka Ours). Meanwhile, STP released an expanded 25th anniversary reissue of their third album, Tiny Music...Songs From The Vatican Gift Shop.

Gunther’s Grass

A new Gunther’s Grass album called UR dropped November 4. "Hard to describe the sound or genre, though experimental would work," says bandleader Marcelo Radulovich. "The participants are Chris Adler on khan and piano, Scott Walton - who lives in France - on contrabass and piano, and me on hurdy gurdy and electronics. It is another one of these long distance collaborations, no actual playing together, full of creative approaches, playing and sound."
