San Diego Convention of the California GOP reveals new strategy

Max Whiteman, addressing the California Republican Convention last week at the unveiling of the organization’s new logo: “If you tilt Texas a little to the right — get it, to the right? — the state looks kinda like a P. So we think the logo works. Anyway, it gets the message across concerning our new strategy: CA GO Texas. Get the hell out of Dodge and go do some good. There was a little while during the 2020 Presidential election returns where Texas was actually blue. Can you imagine? Keep still and hold tight, and you may not have to. All these Silicon Valley companies pulling up stakes and heading to Texas for the economically friendly environs — you think they’re suddenly going to start voting Republican? Right now, they have New York and California, and we have Texas and Florida — but not by much. We lose either of those, and we’re history as a party. I’m not saying you have to give up the California dream. Go ahead and hang onto your real estate as an investment, and rent it to some nice Hispanic family. All our data says they’re starting to come around to our side as the left goes bonkers. Maybe in three, four election cycles, it’ll be safe to come back. But for now, vamanos!
