Customer complaint chases bullying Starbucks barista from corona-crazed coffee collective

Star-BUCKS

Hey 10 News, are you sure “viral” is the word you want to go with here?

When San Diego Starbucks barista Lenin Gutierrez rudely refused to serve a woman because she was not wearing a protective mask, she took to Facebook to complain, noting, “Next time I will wait for cops and bring a medical exemption.” She also included a picture of Gutierrez. Amazingly, an Irvine man who saw the post set up a GoFundMe to thank him for his rigid, unquestioning adherence to store policy and state mandate, and even more amazingly, the masses sent over $100,000 dollars as an expression of Soviet-style solidarity with the socialist server. “I’m so grateful,” posted the freedom-friendly woman in a followup Facebook entry. “Now that he’s loaded, this little Lenin says he plans to pursue his dream of getting a degree in kinesiology and entering the world of professional dance, which hopefully means he won’t be working at Starbucks any more.”
