Comic-Con organizers considered the popular appeal at this moment in history of an event that regularly packs enormous numbers of people into extremely close quarters for hours at a time, and decided that this was as good a year as any for a vacation.

COVID-CON promises to bring more than 800 homeless people to the Convention Center floor for a cultural gathering unlike any other! Unfortunately, the event is not open to the general public, but those lucky enough to make it inside can expect plenty of the same cool stuff that has made Comic-Con a San Diego institution:
