San Diego Zoo Researchers declare success in effort to bring back Northern White Rhino — or something very much like it

A San Diego Zoo employee seeks to lure Future Shock, a northern white rhino grown from stem cells that were genetically tweaked into sperm and eggs by Zoo geneticists, away from the scene of what the Zoo later termed “an insufficient observation of security protocols.”
