Toenail abductor at El Cajon Walmart

Police in El Cajon are searching for a man with exceptionally long toenails in connection with an attempted abduction from the Walmart parking lot outside Parkway Plaza.

According to a report from lieutenant Royal Bates, a woman and her three-year-old daughter were walking away from their parked car early Tuesday afternoon (April 11) when they were approached by the suspect, described as "a middle-aged Middle Eastern male, 6'-0" to 6'-3", 220-230 pounds with a pot belly . . . dirty blonde hair and a receding hair line."

His intended victims "also noted that he had long toenails," Bates's report continues.

Police say they're currently reviewing surveillance camera footage as part of an ongoing investigation and will release photos and/or video of the incident if any are found.
