Inglewood deal said to be imminent, but Bolts may play 2016 season here

According to the Orange County Register, the Chargers could reach an agreement in principle to join the Rams in Inglewood as soon as this weekend, but the deal would be structured so that the Chargers could play the 2016 season in San Diego and make a final attempt to get a subsidized stadium in San Diego.

The newspaper says the National Football League and team owners are "encouraging the Chargers to relocate to Inglewood" and Chargers officials acknowledge the chances of securing a San Diego stadium remain a long shot.

The Chargers have submitted plans to the City of Santa Ana for an interim practice facility should the franchise relocate to Inglewood, according to the story.
