Americana artist Jake Loban’s latest, Chasing Fire, was inspired by motorcycle treks along the West Coast.

Local bands with new releases include shoegaze-influenced quartet Voice Actor, whose debut full-length Runaway comes via Tijuana-based label Prima Crush (Dani Shivers, Late Night Howl, Eric Curiel), issued on cassette with an enclosed download card good for digital versions.

The Eagle & Child just released their ten-song album All Moments. The band features three vets from Christian rockers Future of Forestry — Nick Maybury, Luke Floeter, and Spencer Kim — alongside Brad Davis (Bad Credit, Reeve Oliver, fluf).
