The Matt Smith Neu Jazz Trio play the Jazz 88 Happy Hour at the Lafayette Hotel featuring Antar Martin and Ed Kornhauser for a $10 cover charge … the AAA Jazz Celebration Series continues at Northern Spirits Jazz Club with Whitney Shay covering Julie London and Etta James with Rob Whitlock and Charles Weller at 7:00 p.m. no cover charge.

Trombonist Matt Hall and pianist Jason Shattil play in duo at Croce’s Park West at 6:00 p.m. — no cover charge.

Friday 2

Michelle Coltrane plays the Jacobs Center with Besos de Coco opening at 6:30 p.m. $35 general admission.

Trio de Janeiro with Lori Bell, Tommy Aros and Ron Satterfield play the Happy Hour at the Handlery Hotel at 5:30 p.m. no cover, no minimum.
