This is why it's called "wacky tobacky"…

Three suspects and 93 marijuana plants were taken into custody late Monday night, March 2, after one of the individuals apparently accidentally called the sheriff's department while in the middle of a conversation about processing the plants and a "desire to harm" a deputy sitting in a patrol car outside the residence where they were staying.

According to a report from Capt. Kelly Martinez, a sheriff's deputy was sitting in his cruiser outside a residence in Alpine when a call came in to the agency's office. A dispatcher, listening to determine if there was a need for assistance, heard a conversation on topics ranging from narcotics, items used to manufacture "honey oil" (a concentrated form of marijuana derived with the aid of butane), and ill will toward the deputy parked outside.

While the call was ongoing, deputies located the home and approached the front door. There, they were met by three individuals, identified in Martinez's report as Mark Stuhr, Kristopher Kondly, and Christian Feugere. It's not clear which one called the sheriff's department.

A search of the residence turned up the cannabis-growing operation, and the three were booked on charges including cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of narcotics, and probation violations.
