Hundreds caught; hundreds released

Calico bass (aka kelp bass)

25 anglers aboard the Chubasco II 1/2 day morning run boated 1 sheephead, 1 rockfish and 101 calico bass. 80 of the calicos were released.

The Dolphin hosted 43 anglers aboard their am 1/2 day run and reported 107 rockfish and 2 lingcod caught. 39 anglers aboard their pm 1/2 day run sacked up 66 rockfish, 2 lingcod and 1 sculpin.

The Penetrator 1/2 day am run with 4 anglers at the rail called in with 24 bonito and 16 rockfish as the total catch.

20 anglers aboard the Jig Strike 3/4 day run caught their limit of 200 rockfish.

1 yellowtail and 2 bluefin tuna reported for the Legend overnight trip with 13 anglers aboard. The bluefin were released.

The Malihini, with 10 anglers aboard for a 3/4 day run, reported 1 yellowtail and 4 bonito caught.

The Premier took out 23 anglers for the am 1/2 day ans 13 anglers for the pm 1/2 day. They reported a total catch of 4 sculpin and 84 rockfish for both trips.

The New Lo-An 1.5 day trip with 7 anglers aboard returned to the dock with 10 yellowtail and 1 yellowfin tuna in the hold.

8 yellowtail, 12 bonito and 35 rockfish were caught by the 20 anglers aboard the Mission Belle 3/4 day run.

Only 8 legal calico bass kept out of 109 caught by the 37 anglers aboard the Sea Watch on a 1/2 day afternoon trip.

21 anglers aboard the Daily Double 1/2 day morning run caught 87 rockfish. 7 anglers aboard their pm 1/2 day caught 1 sculpin and 27 rockfish.

90 anglers total aboard the New Seaforth 1/2 day am, pm and twilight runs boated 59 rockfish, 1 yellowtail, 11 bonito and 149 calico bass. 140 of the calicos were released.
