Typical winter mix in the salad, though the big bugs weren't on that spot tried.

Seaforth Sportfishing 101 Anglers, 2 Boats, 3 Yellowtail, 1 Bonito

One day can make a big difference when trying to find a school moving around deep. Fishing is a gamble, that's why it's called fishing and not "catching". Got to give Seaforth credit for trying, and they did get a few.

The Excel is home at the dock after a very successful 15-day trip to the Hurricane Bank for large Yellowfin Tuna, Alijos Rocks for constant Wahoo action and finished up at Cedros with some quality Yellowtail and White Seabass. They made it in at about 5:30 am this morning.

The Red Rooster III is just now arriving at Hurricane Bank after whacking the Wahoo off the southern Baja coast on the way down for their 15-day trip returning Feb 8.
