Still the same thing, looking for the elusive Yellowtail or pinning up to the kelp or a high spot are the half-day options. Three-quarter day trips are going south to the Coronados with success. Some of the 1.5 day trips are fishing the Tanner/Cortez Bank Bluefin Tuna bite, while others are going south to the Colonet area. Should have some info on those primarily weekend trips by Sunday. Long range boats are doing well on the big 200+ pound Yellowfin Tuna at the Hurricane Bank as well as picking some good Wahoo on the way down and back as they pass the pinnacles like Alijos Rocks up to just south of Cedros Island.

The San Diego 3/4 Day with 48 Anglers aboard reported 21 Pacific Bonito, 2 Lingcod, 2 California Halibut, 40 California Yellowtail, 1 Barred Sand Bass and 27 Rockfish caught at the Coronado Islands.

16 Anglers aboard the Mission Belle 3/4 Day run south of the border boated 9 California Yellowtail, 2 Barred Sand Bass, 1 Kelp Bass, 14 Pacific Bonito and 2 Lingcod

Fishing the Point Loma kelp, the Premier 1/2 Day AM run carrying 32 Anglers returned to the dock with 11 Ocean Whitefish and 139 Rockfish
