Temptations for fisher-folk

February 11 dock totals

32 Anglers aboard the Tribute 1.5 Day trip to Cortez Bank boated 29 Yellowtail, 8 Bluefin Tuna and 35 Bonito

Those local Yellows are tempting the fisher-folk out of their winter hideouts. The New Seaforth 1/2 Day AM left the dock with 60 Anglers aboard and found 29 Yellowtail and returned to the canyon edge with 71 more hopefuls on their 1/2 Day PM run for 38 more of the tasty jacks.

The Point Loma 1/2 Day AM run ran up to the La Jolla canyon with their 5 Anglers enjoying lots of elbow room while catching 11 Yellowtail

13 Anglers hopped aboard the Malihini 3/4 Day run to the Coronado Islands and returned to the dock with 4 Bonito, 2 Sand Bass, 27 Yellowtail, 15 Rockfish and 2 Lingcod

Fishing the conventional 1/2 Day AM run pinned up in 80' of water at the Point Loma kelp edge, 19 Anglers aboard the Premier boated 1 Lingcod and 175 Rockfish
