Notable catches from the last three days

Here are the dock totals for August 17, 18 and 19. Notable catches were a striped marlin, a shortbill spearfish and an opah. The bluefin tuna moved out west a ways and only two have been caught from San Diego-based sportfishing vessels so far this week.

Dana Landing hosted 19 anglers aboard 5 boats and reported a total catch of 148 yellowfin tuna and 1 dorado.

445 anglers aboard 17 boats out of Fisherman's Landing caught 18 dorado, 990 yellowfin tuna, 1 bluefin tuna, 14 yellowtail, 14 sand bass, 61 calico bass, 137 rockfish, 29 bonito, 12 barracuda, 6 sheephead, 1 halibut and 1 sculpin.

159 yellowtail, 2,935 yellowfin tuna, 59 skipjack tuna, 605 dorado, 228 sand bass, 38 calico bass, 6 bonito, 7 rockfish, 5 barracuda, 1 sculpin, 1 opah and 1 shortbill spearfish were caught by the 976 anglers fishing aboard 40 boats out of H&M Landing.

Helgren's Oceanside Sportfishing sent 135 anglers out aboard 4 boats and reported a total catch of 21 calico bass, 7 bonito, 10 yellowtail, 3 dorado, 58 yellowfin tuna and 1 skipjack tuna.

376 anglers aboard 19 boats out of Point Loma Sportfishing caught 20 yellowtail, 57 calico bass, 68 sand bass, 733 yellowfin tuna, 5 skipjack tuna, 50 dorado, 32 bonito, 40 rockfish, 30 barracuda and 1 lingcod.

2,440 yellowfin tuna, 21 skipjack tuna, 281 dorado, 261 yellowtail, 10 sand bass, 87 calico bass, 204 rockfish, 1 bluefin tuna, 22 bonito, 1 sheephead and 1 striped marlin were caught by the 1,088 anglers aboard 40 boats out of Seaforth Sportfishing.
