It’s time for the annual Peter Sprague Christmas Eve Concert at the Del Mar Amphitheatre (1540 Camino Del Mar) starring Leonard Patton, Tripp Sprague, Gunnar Biggs, Duncan Moore, Kevyn Lettau, Coral MacFarland Thuet, Fred Benedetti, John Leftwich, Kate Sprague, Riley Fleck, Julia and Regina Benedetti, and Kekoa Trent. Bring chairs, blankets and picnic items to enjoy this free outdoor event.

Trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos will be joined by guitarist Graham Dechter and bassist Katie Thiroux at the Westgate Hotel (1055 Second Avenue) 8:00 p.m. no cover, but there is a $20 food/drink minimum … the Charlie Arbelaez Trio featuring Antar Martin on bass and Brett Sanders on drums are holding court at the Rook Bar (7745 University Avenue) from 9:30 p.m. with a midnight jam to follow.
