Trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos presents the Young Lions Series at Croce’s Park West (2760 Fifth Avenue) this week featuring saxophonist Kyle Myers with Hugo Suarez, Jerome Salazar and Marco Leong, 7:00 p.m. $5 cover. Then he’s off to host the Latin Jam at Seven Grand (3054 University Avenue) at 9:00 p.m. no cover, musicians bring your horns! … the KSDS Blues Jam is going down at Proud Mary’s (5500 Kearny Mesa Road) with host J.
