Ho-hum bandit gets heave-ho

Judge adds 70 months to sentence

Adam Lynch, known as "the Ho-Hum Bandit" for the nonchalant way he robbed San Diego banks in 2010, was sentenced today (Aug. 4) to an additional 70 months in prison. This brings his total sentence to 120 months, because he went on to rob banks in Denver and Cheyenne, Wyoming, and was convicted.

He has been in custody since April 21, 2011.
