Know Your Parrots

You’ve got a problem with your cover photo for “Green Invaders from Mexico." That cutie about to bite is not from Mexico, or even South America. He is an Eclectus parrot, native to Australia and New Guinea.

In addition, he is not the type of parrot you might find flying free in San Diego. Get your photo to match the story; we’re not a bunch of dummies!

Too Late for Freedom

So, I spend 20 minutes reading the cover story “The First Time I See Eliza Jane Schneider Onstage, I Want to Be Her Friend,” which I enjoyed, and I had my wife read it too.

I looked for when and where it’s playing so I could buy tickets, yet this info is nowhere to be found. I went online and, to our dismay, Freedom of Speech played here back in July.
