Paseo de Todos 3-year anniversary bike ride in Tijuana

Paseo de Todos celebrates three years of weekly bike rides in Tijuana on Friday, July 5

“The objective of this ride is to produce a cultural change in Tijuana society,” the Facebook event reads.

The anniversary ride kicks off at 8 p.m. from Plaza Santa Cecilia (beneath the arch at First and Revolucion) for an impromptu race against destiny.

The words “pothole” and “faceplant” have come up every time someone has described this ride to me, so you'll probably do well to bring a mountain bike (or something with wider tires), a helmet, and maybe even insurance (just kidding).

The group recommends you give your bike a tune-up before heading out, bring some innertube patches, and wear lights and reflectors.
