Tijuana water agency CESPT (Comisión Estatal de Servicios Públicos de Tijuana) will suspend running water to 82 neighborhoods starting early today, Tuesday, December 3 and will renew its services partially on Thursday, December 5.

The water shortage is due to the relocation of 216 meters of aqueduct on Avenida Internacional. The most affected area is east of Tijuana, where the university and international airport are located.

Almost nothing west of the river will be affected, according to the CESPT website. Downtown, Playas de Tijuana, the main boulevard where many international business, are located will not be affected, though water shortage might occur.
