Unique Accessories in South Park

I found Bianca Poletti enjoying the San Diego weather while sipping tea outside Rebecca's Coffee shop in South Park. The 26-year-old recently moved to Seattle where she works as a visual merchandiser for the popular retailer, Anthropologie. She is back in town visiting friends.

Poletti wore mostly Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie items.

"Since I work at Anthro, I get a discount there, and at Free People and Urban," she explained.

Both her scarf and glasses are recent Urban Outfitter purchases. Poletti’s shades are Daisy Mae Round Sunglasses that retail for $14 at Urban Outfitters online. Poletti's patent leather penny loafers are from Banana Republic. Her denim button-down shirt is American Apparel. It retails for $64 online. She wore a soft, pale purple Anthropologie cardigan.

Bianca's favorite local stores for accessories are Home and Flashbacks. She is also a fan of the vintage choices at North Park’s Hunt & Gather. Poletti’s silver ring was purchased while visiting Rosarito.

Poletti's least favorite trend is platform sneakers.

"They are terrible, especially when people wear them with dresses," she said with a shudder.

Aislynn Poquette

I spotted Aislynn Poquette from a block away thanks to the vibrant pop of color her H&M pencil skirt provided (retails for $24.99). The 31-year-old was on her way to work at the Station in South Park. She wore a screen printed American Apparel t-shirt paired with an Urban Outfitter's cardigan.

Poquette's multiple strap leather bracelet is from Home in North Park.

"Home is my favorite local store. It's half vintage and half new stuff."
