Point Loma’s Rock Church Offers Wristbands for Pledges

The latest hot item from the Rock Church in Point Loma and pastor Miles McPherson is a red wristband handed out to interested parishioners on Sunday, October, 23.

At the conclusion of a sermon series titled "Wired for Love," the Liberty Station mega-church offered those who vowed to "take a purity pledge" a free red plastic wristband with the word "PURE" printed on it.

According to the website wiredforlove.net, "the Purity Pledge is a way to publicly proclaim your promise to God to remain pure in all relationships."

Those who pledge also vow to honor any current or future spouses, exercise faithfulness in relationships, and remain pure in speech, life, faith, and love.
