Small Sewage Spill in Ocean Beach

Right when the weather and water get warm enough to enjoy refreshing ocean swims off Bermuda Beach (at the foot of Bermuda Avenue in Ocean Beach), “contaminated water” signs go up — both at the top of the stairs at Bermuda Beach and also at the Adair Street entrance to Sunset Cliffs Park along Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. A small sewage spill recently occurred in the area.
