More Bike Racks for San Diego Sidewalks

According to Marko Radovanovic of the City’s Traffic Engineering Division, a project is under way to install 47 bicycle racks on sidewalks along El Cajon Boulevard, 30th Street, University Avenue, and Adams Avenue.

Thirty-three racks are in place: El Cajon Boulevard with 13 and University Avenue with 7; 30th Street tops the list with a total of 28 — 14 already in, the rest to be installed in a few weeks. Adams Avenue in Normal Heights has 6 installed and will have 13 total when the project is completed.
