Tractor-Trailer Hung Up on B Street

On the afternoon of February 14, the "landing gear" of a semi-trailer's undercarriage scraped the road, hanging up the big rig as it attempted to crest the steep hill on B Street where it meets 21st. A tow truck was called to pull the tractor-trailer over the hill.

The recovery was a matter of unhooking the semi cab and attaching the tow truck to the trailer. After 15 minutes, the job was done. Police blocked eastbound traffic while westbound traffic continued without interruption.
