Kept on Truckin'

Just after 1:30 a.m. on July 14, a truck drove through the front of a home at the intersection of Arrow Rock Avenue and Gold Coast Drive in Mira Mesa. The vehicle took out an interior wall and ended up in the kitchen.

Two men were in the vehicle and were able to exit with minor injuries. They did not attempt to leave the scene. The owner of the house was in the back of the residence sleeping and was not injured.

Fire crews and emergency personnel responded; there was no ensuing gas leak or fire. The suspected cause of the crash was drunk driving.
