Only one person called in the entire two-hour period to ask Jason Hill and Brian Karscig a question. "On MTV, you guys said you think you're the greatest band ever. I think you're awesome, but what was that about?" The guys reiterated that they were their own favorite band but added that their influences were "T. Rex...and also Huey Lewis, but when he went solo. After he left 'the News.' "

Two songs were played from the CD, and host Adam Carolla said, "A lot of people think you guys are from England, but you're from San Diego." Carolla mentioned that he couldn't stop staring at the naked woman on the cover of their CD. Jason explained that the record company wasn't going to let them do that until he said, "Roxy Music had nudity, and they were on Atlantic years before us." According to Jason, the label said, "You're right," and let them do it.

Carolla ended the show by saying, "You guys can come back anytime." Brian said, "Okay. We'll be back tomorrow." Carolla seemed caught off guard and replied, "Ah, well, no, you can't. We have Pepper in here tomorrow night."

But they were broadcast 45 minutes later on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC, where the band was the show's musical guest. After the band performed "Finding Out True Love Is Blind," Kimmel told the audience, "You can download this performance by going to www.abc.com and going to the 'connect' section."

I checked it out, and it's $.99 to download the four-minute live version. They have a performance from local Jason Mraz, as well as other performances for download (including Mötley Crüe, Kravitz, Korn, the Cure, and Tears for Fears).
