When 4th & B Opened

"When 4th & B opened [in 1996], everybody expected the Belly Up to curl up and die, but it didn't," said 4th & B general manager Ray Johnson, who claims he isn't worried about the opening of House of Blues.

"We have ten corporate events booked so far this year."

Although those events are not open to the public, Johnson said Cheap Trick, Los Lobos, and Ratdog have all played at 4th & B this year for corporate confabs.
