"He's Got It If He Wants It"

"He's got it if he wants it," said Mike McSweeney, marketing director of Qualcomm Stadium, about Street Scene promoter Rob Hagey. "We have July 29 and 30 on hold."

Joe Callahan, spokesman for Hagey, would only say that Qualcomm is one of three venues being looked at.

Last year's Street Scene was held August 27 and 28. This year it will be a month earlier.

McSweeney also said Qualcomm has June 30 on hold for the Warped Tour. The Warped Tour would be held on the grass inside the stadium; Street Scene would be in the parking lot.

Were both events to happen, it would be one financial bright spot for the City of San Diego because it owns Qualcomm.
