Master P

Master P, 37, and Silkk the Shocker, 29 (Master P's brother), were arrested on felony gun charges by L.A. police January 27. P, whose real name is Percy Miller, played for the San Diego Stingrays basketball team during its only year in existence, from 2000 through 2001.

The duo were arrested for "unlawfully carrying firearms" after a UCLA police officer pulled over their leased Chrysler 300M shortly after midnight for a missing license plate. Driver Shocker (real name Vyshonne Miller) was discovered to have a loaded gun near his feet. Master P had another loaded weapon under his passenger's seat. Two other men in the back seat were not arrested. The rapper siblings were booked at the West Hollywood sheriff's station and released on bail about three hours later.

Master P was arrested on another firearm charge on June 3, 2004, at Newark International Airport in New Jersey for having a handgun magazine clip with eight hollow-point bullets (known as "cop killers") in his luggage. The bullets are illegal in most states, including New Jersey.

The rapper's sitcom Romeo! debuted last September on the Nickelodeon Network, co-starring his son Lil' Romeo. Lil' Romeo turned 14 August 19 and is the youngest solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart with his first single, "My Baby," a title previously held by Michael Jackson.

The Miller Brothers will be arraigned March 30 at the Felony Arraignment Division in the Airport Courthouse of Los Angeles Superior Court. The entire police report is posted at smokinggun.com.
