Belly Up Tavern owner Steve Goldberg says his Solana Beach showcase is actively looking to hire someone to replace Jesse Gilholm, who was hired four months ago to oversee the booking and promotion of the Belly Up's local artists, which historically has had a showcase on Tuesday nights. Gilholm is out and the Belly Up is looking for a replacement.

Launched in 1997, the Belly Up's local-music night has hosted nationally touring acts like Slightly Stoopid, the Incredible Moses Leroy, Pivit, and Switchfoot. Al Guerra, who is the host/producer of the 91X local music show Loudspeaker, had this job before Gilholm for six months.
