"I'd gone into a department store portrait studio," explains one satisfied customer, "and it was dark and hot, and my baby fell asleep. I left and went into the Picture People and it was a whole different experience. The store was alive with bright colors, and the employees seemed very experienced in the art of photography. They had a number of backdrops to choose from." Packages start at $40 for one pose. That includes one 8x10, two 5x7s, and eight wallet-size pictures. Additional poses are $35 each. Single sheets can be purchased for $15 each.
