A Fred Segal-style boutique is putting more la-la in La Jolla. International designers such as "B.U.K." duke it out with brands like "Joe's Jeans" and "Seven." A mix of rhinestone-studded T-shirts has formed a coalition with hip-riding skirts and wraparound dresses to run out of town the fashion disasters of decades past. A collection of kicky shoes and artsy accessories act as fashion's foot soldiers. Prices aren't cheap. Brazil's "Salinas" itsy-bitsy bikini is as hot as a nighttime samba but can cost up to $160. The fashion-forward will appreciate that the store often buys only three-of-a-kind on any design. Anissa's store has just been open one year, but she says she plans to open another store in North County next year.
