The Encanto area streets are being newly paved. There are areas on the side-walk that are re-paved with black tar. The same material being used in the streets. This looks tacky; because the rest of the side-walk is light grey; with a bumpy black tar patch. Some streets look worst than before the city workers started. I thought the streets were suppose to be smooth and not bumpy. Since the city workers are re-doing the street; they re-moved coverings on the sidewalk, but do not cover them back up. I saw two concrete coverings that were broken on the side-walk. A person could easily lose their footing and break an ankle or worst; because your foot could get stuck in the exposed hole. This doesn't seem like fair work being equally done in our neighborhood; though we pay taxes as well for up-keep for certain construction task to be performed as needed.

The streets are worst now than they were before the City started repairing them. Imperial ave is a mess. It's obvious that we are being treated as second class citizens. Tony is asleep. Can't wait for election time.

I agree, Tony is sleeping on the job! I'm still waiting for sidewalks on north 69th street. My guess there waiting for someone to be killed before they put them in. How lame!
