The Tijuana municipal police have setup operations near the United States border incase alleged cop killer, Christopher Dorner, attempts to cross into Mexico. Authorities in Tijuana were put on alert after Dorner allegedly spent the night in the San Diego area.

Authorities are sweeping Southern California searching for Dorner, a former Los Angeles Police Department officer, who has allegedly killed three people and wounded two more. Dorner started his rampage in what is apparently a revenge for his termination from the LAPD.

Since nobody else bothered, I'll comment here that Dorner has been pursuing a very carefully thought-out plan that leaves "clues" that lead nowhere. Unless there have been late-breaking developments, the last point on his trail was his burning pickup truck at Big Bear. Footprints led away from the hulk. So, law enforcement is looking for him there, and he could certainly be there, hidden away until he's ready to strike again. But I've read enough police/murder mysteries to "know" that he had another vehicle nearby, and got into it and drove away. That vehicle the cops don't know about, 'cause he didn't buy it in his own name, and it is probably an ordinary, non-descript sort of car that attracts no attention. (Something like a Honda Accord, maybe or a Toyota Corolla.)

My question is this: If the Mexican cops see him, what will they do?

he had another vehicle nearby, and got into it and drove away... is probably correct...
