JUAREZ (El Diario, Karen Cano, 5/5/11) - "The attitude of the federalists was not appropriate, we disagree with your point on the Mayor’s bodyguards or any other citizen," said Ernesto Chavez Nápoles, on behalf of the Organization State Chihuahuense. He added that they might not treat people as if they were criminals, with rude or arrogant attitude. "There is to point to treat them like criminals, they are citizens." What would have happened if one was shot?” he explained. Naples Chávez regretted that the federal police have no respect for any degree of authority, since it is not the first time that elements of the federal Corporation entered into conflict with the highest authority of the municipality. Of the same opinion was Leticia Chaverría, Member of the Juarense Medical Committee and of the Juarense Observatory of Social and public security, who indicated that what occurred yesterday caused confusion among citizens. "If that happened with the Mayor, could happen with other citizens. The incident may make Juarenses believe they are not sure with the federal authority it and leaves a feeling of general insecurity", she stated.
