A few more casting possibilities for Johnny Depp's Don Quixote

Can't help myself; this seems to be sort of a rich vein. Lessee, you could go bro and match up Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill again:

(I have to hand it to Tatum: Magic Mike proved that he's capable of a light comedic touch, which is only amplified by the beefcake exterior.)

Or you could do some funksome reverse casting and go with tiny Ben Stiller as Quixote (he's got the requisite crazy eyes) and hulking Vince Vaughn at his bloatiest as Sancho.

Some good visual humor in the sight of Stiller perched atop a long tall nag and Vaughn practically collapsing a donkey. Plus Vaughn cringing in the face of Stiller's towering rage at the unchivalric horrors of the world.

Moving on, you could shoot for prestige with Pacino and Hoffman (Philip Seymour, not Dustin). Pacino even warmed up for the part in what was easily the most delightful part of Jack & Jill.

I really enjoyed Pacino in Looking for Richard. Taking on such a literary figure could be just the thing for late-stage Al.

You know, now that we've had some time to recover from Seinfeld, you might be able to do something really interesting with Jerry and Jason:

They're smart guys, and would bring a knowingness to the nuttiness.

But for my money, the best possible combo - the one with the most potential for something explosive and brilliant - would be Sacha Baron Cohen and Patton Oswalt. Tell me I'm wrong.
