First it was titled The Invention of Hugo Cabret, then Hugo Cabret. Now word has it that Martin Scorsese's 3-D adaptation of mega-selling author Brian Selznick's novel is simply, Hugo.

Personally, I call it the Best Picture of 2011...I hope.

It's a wise move, if for no other reason than everybody and their cousin has been referring to the picture as Hugo Cabaret. Enough! Marty already did His part for Liza.

At this point in the proceedings it's customary to tell you a little about the story in order to whet your appetites. Apart from the trailer and poster art, I have a tendency to try and avoid reading or watching anything about a movie before seeing it, particularly when it comes to one of His films. Besides, what more do you need to know other than it's a new Scorsese release? BRING IT OVER!

What I can tell you is the film, which is set to open November 23, stars Chloë Moretz, Sir Ben Kingsley. Sacha Baron Cohen, Christopher Lee, Emily Mortimer, Jude Law, Michael Stuhlbarg, Ray Winstone, Frances de la Tour, and Richard Griffiths.

According to Variety's Jeff Sneider, the trailer "has been submitted for classification in the UK, and rumors say that it will go out attached to the final Harry Potter film." Jeez, they really are making it tough on us Scorsese fans. If you are like me, and have as much interest in a Harry Potter picture as you do revisiting your parents' funerals, go to your local theater and buy a ticket for another movie. Time it so either before or after it screens, you can slip into the beginning of Harry and watch the preview to Hugo.

And if the trailer is out of focus, I want you to storm the projection booth!
