Double Features From Hell: The Warrior and the Slave Girl and Louis Prima?!
Here's a 1995 head-scratcher from the Valley Drive-In: "Richie Rich" with "Disclosure"?! http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_e2LKfLuTc_U/SDyttxuQSWI…— January 24, 2012 5:06 a.m.
So Long
I first opened up a Reader in the late 90s and was immediately hooked after reading your reference to Cameron Diaz as "a smile-on-a-stick". Mr. Shepherd, yours are the most articulate, witty and observant film reviews I've ever read. Though I don't always agree with your lower ratings, I feel I cannot go too far wrong by giving a try those films highly recommended by you. Thank you, sir, and have a wonderful life!— November 13, 2010 10:12 a.m.

Saw this a couple of years ago at the Arclight in Hollywood. Great film, although I got the impression that the studio attached the psychological babble to the end to make sure no questions were left unanswered.— November 2, 2010 5:22 a.m.
Drive-In Theaters in San Diego: Complete Illustrated History 1947 thru 2008 (45 new pics added 7-4-09!)
Thanks, Jay, for the update, and for adding a link to my blog. This monster article is great and so informative!— October 14, 2009 8:27 a.m.

Great article! Thanks for all the work you put into it. I grew up when the Valley Drive-In was still in operation and have a lot of good memories going with the family to see movies there. For anyone that is interested specifically in that theater, there is additional information on this blog: http://valleydrive-in.blogspot.com/ My only criticism of the article is that there is at least one instance of an inaccurate photo being used to represent a theater. The picture above the entry about Oceanside's Midway is actually of the Midway theater in Sweetwater, Texas. Personally, I would rather have no picture than a misleading one. Otherwise, the article was fantastic.— November 15, 2008 7:19 p.m.
